“I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started taking private Pilates classes. I’m not the kind of person who enjoys exercise, and I’m honestly kind of clumsy. But when I was getting in shape for my wedding, I was looking for something other than personal training at the gym. I generally find working out really intimidating, but Rita’s warm, friendly energy made me feel immediately comfortable and at ease. In addition to getting toned and lean for all the wedding photos, my body felt so much more connected and resilient. Now, thanks to Rita, I LOVE Pilates!! It’s hard to believe that I’ve been working with her for over 3 years. She really listens to my personal goals and tailors each session to fit my body’s needs. She has even helped me through a few work-related injuries (a torn ligament in my wrist and a torn labrum in my shoulder) in tandem with physical therapy. She is attentive and precise when it comes to proper body alignment, and she always makes sure that I’m in the right position to maximize results while protecting my joints. I still feel taller and lighter when walking out of our sessions! Plus, Rita’s such a kind and fun person... seeing her is always one of the highlights of my week!”

“I wasn’t sure how I would feel about switching from in-person to online sessions when the pandemic hit, but I was amazed by how much I could physically and mentally accomplish in our transition to a new medium. Rita’s eye is truly exceptional, and even through Zoom, she is able to pinpoint what my body needs. I feel I get just as much out of our sessions online as I did in-person and the mat work has been crucial to helping me continue to feel stronger and more balanced. Pre-COVID, one of the downsides of travel was missing my sessions with Rita, but I look forward to continuing our sessions in a post-COVID world where we can meet every week, regardless of where we find ourselves.”
